i’ve been noticing a real resurgence of the flos snoopy lamp, and dome or mushroom lamps in general lately. the vintage snoopy lamp was originally designed by Achille & Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in 1967 and has inspired many a variation. but i really love the original for that perky way it sits, just like our beloved snoopy cartoon character. the apartment dk had a special re-edition made and you can find them there from time to time. there’s also a new table lamp design by Belgian artist Jos Devriendt — his night & day ceramic lamp series is quite fetching, and so is the Night Owl Holz lamp from wunschlicht. i like this take on the dome lamp from west elm, and these schoolhouse electric wall sconces and sidnie table lamp, too. check etsy and chairish for 70’s vintage versions, as well.
